Commentary
When we first received this submission we were blown away by the emotion it created.
The discussion amongst the group as to its meaning and message "War" was fascinating so we have quite deliberately added little to the commentary as we are keen to receive your thoughts and comments which we will pass back to the artist.
This abstract art critique is exactly the sort of artwork we love to critique in the Art-Club.
This is clearly an artist who has experienced war or has been involved in war. The emotion al impact of this artwork is strong. In particular I like the use of the frame as a part of the artwork.
It gives a feeling of salvage from the ruins and by bringing the painting on to the frame just strengthens the message.
Does anyone get the same feelings?
